This is a handy accessory. I don't have logs to clamp but there are many more uses besides logs.

Ordered this for my husband, he saw it on TV and had to have it. Stores easier than saw horses and is amazing. Does all they advertise it to do. Heavy, but that is what makes it so sturdy and durable, I guess.

As you can see in the video you can put a lot of pressure on the logs with these teeth. In fact if it came with a splitting wedge you could probably split logs with it... but it doesn't so you need to cut them yourself.

Having this accessory available was my main reason for purchasing a jawhorse. For a couple years I looked for a tool that could hold a 8"-12" diameter log to allow me to SAFETLY cut it to size to fit in my 18" wood stove fireplace insert. Holding a log sitting on a cement block with my foot while cutting it with a chainsaw is not a safe practice. This tool, in conjnction with the jawhorse works as advertised. The logjaw accessory has small teeth on the jaws that bite into the log and hold it......
